Clavel’s core business is based on the trading of petroleum products and derivatives, a sector in which the company has achieved a leading position thanks to its ability to respond effectively to market needs. Our strategy includes the acquisition of storage space at major coastal oil terminals in the Mediterranean, enabling us to handle large volumes of energy products with efficiency and flexibility.
After acquiring the products, Clavel takes care of their distribution and sales in local markets, with an approach that prioritizes both quality of service and timely delivery. This strong logistics infrastructure, combined with strategic partnerships with the industry’s key global players, enables us to offer tailored solutions for our customers, ensuring the continuous availability of key products such as EN590 10ppm.

Our future
In line with the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Clavel Group has supplemented its core business with targeted investments in the renewable energy sector. Major areas of interest include solar energy and the production and distribution of innovative biofuels.
Special attention is paid to HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), a top-quality biofuel made exclusively from renewable and sustainable raw materials. This fuel represents a concrete alternative to traditional diesel, making a significant contribution to the decarbonization of the transportation sector and mobility in general.
HVO has the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent, making it a key resource in the transition to a zero-emission future. Compatible with most modern diesel engines, it can also be used in industrial machinery, offering sustainable solutions for both transportation fleets and private drivers who wish to reduce the environmental impact of their vehicles while complying with current regulations.
